What this content is
Wrap & Wander publishes research-led, spec-based comparisons of baby travel gear, and summaries of published airline and safety-body policy. Product selections are made from currently sold models and compared on specifications published by their manufacturers, each cited with the date we read it. We do not test products and we do not claim to — the method is set out on how we pick.
Safety and medical disclaimer
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing on it is a substitute for the instructions supplied with a product or for guidance from a qualified professional. Pages that touch child safety cite primary sources — the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and the Federal Aviation Administration — and you should read those sources directly for anything that matters.
Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for any car seat, carrier, crib or play yard you use. Where our summary of a standard or a guideline differs from the standard itself, the standard governs. Questions specific to your child belong with their clinician.
Accuracy of specifications and policies
We quote specifications from manufacturers and policies from airlines and regulators, with the date each was read. Both change without notice. A figure that was correct on the date shown may not be correct when you read it, and an airline may apply a policy differently at a gate. Verify anything you are relying on against the primary source before you act on it — every page links its sources for exactly this reason.
Where a manufacturer or airline does not publish a figure, our pages say so rather than estimating. If you find an error, tell us at our contact page and we will correct and re-date the page.
